Configuring Report Names

In the Report configuration area of the Global menu, you can configure file names for Congree reports.

Note:

If you leave the input screens empty, the reports will be assigned the default file names Congree_AuthoringMemoryReport_[YYYY]-[MM]-[DD]_[hh]-[mm]-[ss] or Congree_AuthoringMemoryMatchingRatesReport_[YYYY]-[MM]-[DD]_[hh]-[mm]-[ss].

Requirements:

  • You are in the Global settings menu.
  • If metadata are to be inserted in the report name: Under Document, you have set up a suitable flexible setting for the settings category Report name or Authoring Memory Matching Rates Report name (see Setting up Flexible Settings).

How to configure report names:

The procedure described applies to both input screens.
  1. Enter a report name of your choice.
  2. Optional: Enter the { character.

  3. Select one or several placeholders for the following information:
    • Time stamp in the format [hh]-[mm]-[ss]
    • Date stamp in the format [YYYY]-[MM]-[DD]
    • Time stamp in the format [hh]-[mm]-[ss] (UTC)
    • Date stamp in the format [dd].[mm].[yyyy] (UTC)
    • Metadata: Attribute value that is extracted from the document by means of a flexible setting (see Setting up Flexible Settings)
    • User name of the author
  4. Click Save in order to save your configuration.
  5. When generating a report in the Congree Authoring Client, a new file name will be assigned.

Important:

Close and open the Congree Authoring Client in order for your configuration to be applied.

Background: The {Metadata} Placeholder

If you use the {Metadata} placeholder, an attribute value will be extracted from the current document and will be appended to the report name. The XML attribute whose value is to be extracted and appended is specified as Extraction value in the flexible settings (see Setting up Flexible Settings). The following details are also necessary:

  • Target element: The element to which the attribute belongs
  • Component: Authoring Memory
  • Settings category: Authoring Memory Matching Rates Report name or report name
  • Applied setting: Extracted value

Example report name with {Metadata} placeholder report configuration: AuthoringMemoryReport_Test_{Metadata}
