Specifying Discard Reasons and Comments
When discarding an Authoring Memory Candidate or Authoring Memory proposals, you can specify a discard reason and an additional comment. After discarding a candidate or proposal, the comment and discard reason will be visible to authors in the Congree Authoring Client.
Note:
You can specify discard reasons and comments when discarding new or previously approved candidates.
Important:
The screenshots show the My Candidates menu. However, the procedures described also apply to all other menus in which you edit sentences assigned to you.
Requirements:
You are in one of the following menus:
- My Candidates
- My Approved
- My Challenged
- TeamPlay
- The table contains sentences for processing.
- For TeamPlay: You are the owner of the sentences.
How to specify discard reasons:
Click the Discard reason field in the row of the candidate/Authoring Memory proposal that you would like to discard.
- A closed drop-down list will be displayed:

Click the arrow button.
- A drop-down list with predefined discard reasons will open up.
- A drop-down list with predefined discard reasons will open up.
Select one or several discard reasons and click OK.
- The drop-down list will close.
- The discard reason(s) will be adopted when discarding the candidate/proposal.
How to specify comments:
Click the Comment field in the row of the candidate that you would like to discard.

- Write a comment.
- The comment(s) will be adopted when discarding the candidate.
Note:
If a comment and a discard reason are specified although the candidate is to be returned or approved, a dialog field will be displayed.
