Authoring Memory Candidate Panel

The Authoring Memory Candidates Panel lists all edited sentences of the document that are not yet stored in the Authoring Memory. You can propose the listed sentences to the Data Grooming users as candidates for the Authoring Memory.

Within the scope of a real-time check, the list will be supplemented with new sentences whenever you click an existing paragraph or enter a new sentence. Following the document check, all sentences that are not yet stored in the Authoring Memory are listed as candidates.

Overview of the Authoring Memory Candidates Panel

  1. List of Authoring Memory Candidates: The value specified at the beginning of the line represents the matching rate of the most similar existing match in the Authoring Memory.
  2. Display settings button: Show the discard reasons for the Authoring Memory Candidates.
  3. Show/hide locked sentences button: Hide and show locked and discarded sentences. See also below, overview of "The Authoring Memory Candidates panel showing locked sentences".
  4. Propose selected candidates button: Submit all selected Authoring Memory Candidates to the Data Grooming Manager.
  5. Select all button: Select all Authoring Memory Candidates.
  6. Unselect all button: Unselect all Authoring Memory Candidates.

  1. Locked icon: A locked Authoring Memory Candidate cannot be proposed because it does not fulfill certain conditions. The unfulfilled condition is next to the icon. In the example shown here, the sentence from the Authoring Memory with a match of 98 is too similar.
  2. Discarded icon: Authoring Memory Candidates marked in this way have been discarded by the Data Grooming users in the Congree Data Grooming Manager.
    1. Discard reason: The discard reason indicates why a candidate has been discarded. The discard reason is provided by the responsible Data Grooming users.
    2. Comment: The comment contains additional information on the discard reason.

Important:

Do not use a discarded sentence. Instead, use a new or previously stored similar sentence.

Tip:

If a sentence is locked because there are notifications for it in certain notification categories of the Language Check, you can either process the notifications or ignore them. Both options have the effect that the sentence can be proposed again.

In the Congree Control Center, Settings Manager, Data Grooming menu, a configuration has been created which defines that Congree does not collect any Authoring Memory Candidates.
