Installing Congree on a Server Host
The Deployment Assistant indicates the installation steps with short texts and tooltips. The following section especially explains the behavior of the field for the progress display.
Important:
For a distributed Congree installation, the installation step must be performed on every host that has been assigned client or server components.
Requirements
- You have configured a viable Congree installation.
- You are on a host on which you want to install Congree.
- You are in the Install Congree Components menu of the Deployment Assistant.
How to Verify your Installation
Enter the host name or the IP address of the host on which the configuration was performed with the Deployment Assistant in the respective input field.
- The Deployment Assistant will remember your input for the next installation/update.
Click Verify:
- The Deployment Assistant will check whether the installation can be successfully performed.
- The verification runs without problems. The installation can be carried out successfully.
- The verification process detects version incompatibility that results in one or more components not being installed. Press Close and change your configuration. Alternatively, you can choose Install to perform the installation without the corresponding components.

- Verification whether all Congree system requirements are met
- Check whether the Congree versions of the components are compatible

How to Perform the Installation
Following the successful verification, click Install.
- The Congree components will be installed consecutively.
- You will receive a success message for every installed component.
- The Deployment Assistant will display the successful completion of your installation.
Next Steps
- Proceed with the Congree Health Monitoring (see Congree Health Monitoring – Concept and Components) in order to check the health of Congree and third-party server components.
Important:
For a distributed Congree installation on more than one host, check the Congree Health Monitoring immediately after the installation of the server components. Perform the client installation only after this.
