Client Installation with the Congree Deployment Assistant

The client installation is therefore discussed here in the form of a quick guide. The procedure for a client update is the same.

Therefore, this section merely summarizes the client installation.
Requirements
- You are on a host on which you would like to install Congree Client components.
- The Congree Deployment Assistant Lite is available in a version that matches the installation on the configuration host
- The installation of the server components has already been successfully completed.
- You know the name of the configuration host on which your client components have been configured.
How to Install Client Components
Open the Congree Deployment Assistant with administrator rights.
Click Install or Update:
Enter the name of the configuration host (1). In many cases, the field is already pre-filled. Change the address there if necessary.
Click Verify.
The Congree Deployment Assistant will check whether the installation can be successfully performed.
- You will receive a success message for each installed component.
- The Deployment Assistant Lite shows the successful completion of your installation:
Following the successful verification, click Install:
The Congree components will be installed consecutively.
You will receive a success message for every installed component.
The Deployment Assistant will display the successful completion of your installation:
- Click Close to complete the installation.
