Proposing Term Candidates

You can propose term candidates for inclusion in your corporate terminology. You can do this in three ways:

  • Propose your own terms directly (see Finding Term Candidates)
  • Propose a term from the Term Candidates Panel
  • Propose multiple terms from the Term Candidates Panel

Requirements:

  • You are in the Term Candidates Panel.
  • The panel contains at least one term candidate.
  • You have entered all required additional information for the term candidates.

How to propose an individual term candidate:

  1. Move the mouse pointer over the respective term candidate.

    1. The Propose candidate button will become visible.
  2. Click the button:

    1. The candidate will disappear from the Term Candidates Panel.
    2. The counter of the Show/hide already known candidates button will increase by one.
  3. The candidate has been proposed and submitted to the Congree Control Center for evaluation.
  4. The button is inactivate, the term candidate cannot be proposed: Perhaps you have not entered all required additional terminology information. A term candidate can be proposed only after completing all fields configured as Mandatory in the Congree Control Center.

How to propose multiple term candidates:

  1. Activate the checkboxes of the required term candidates or click Select all to select all term candidates:
  2. Click Propose selected candidates:

    1. The selected candidates will disappear from the Term Candidates Panel.
    2. The counter of the Show/hide already known candidates button will be increased by the number of proposed candidates.
  3. The candidates have been proposed and submitted to the Congree Control Center for evaluation.
  4. Term candidates have not been selected and proposed even though you clicked Select all: Perhaps you have not entered all required additional terminology information. A term candidate can be proposed only after completing all fields configured as Mandatory in the Congree Control Center.
