Congree TermTiger Search

Terminology in Congree TermTiger is available online for the entire company to access in TermTiger Search. TermTiger Search can normally be reached with a URL like this: https://yourserver/CongreeControlCenter/TermTiger/search.

Searching for a term

  1. Search Bar

    • Enter the term you want to search for in the search bar.

    • Click on any of the results to get more details.

  1. TermBase Selector

    • Click the TermBase selector to switch between TermBases.

  1. Filter Selector

    • Click the Filter selector to enable any filter that has been created previously.

  1. Propose Term Candidates

    • Click Propose New Term Candidate if you want to share an idea for a new term with the terminologist.

 

A) Mandatory Fields: Indicated by a red asterisk.

B) Concept Level Fields: Displayed first.

C) Term Level Fields: Displayed afterwards.

D) When all mandatory fields have been filled, click Propose Candidate to forward the term to management or click Cancel to undo the entire operation.

  1. Search Language

    • Click the flag to change the current search language.

  1. Language of the User Interface

    • Click this flag to change the language of the user interface. English and German are available.

  1. Access to Login

    • Click the login button if you want to log in as a specific user.

Seeing the Search Result

When you click on a search result in the search bar, the term is displayed in more detail below the search bar.

 

  1. Concept Level

    • On the concept level, you see all fields that are valid for all terms of this concept. Typically, this includes fields like Definition or Department.

  2. Switch Content Language

    • Some fields on the concept level or term level can have content in different languages, typically for fields like Definitions.

    • You can switch to another language by clicking the current language flag and selecting another one if available.

  3. Term Level

    • On the term level, you see all fields that are specific to a certain term of this concept. Typically, this includes fields like Part of Speech or Context.

  4. Select Available Languages

    • On the term level, you can decide what languages you are interested in. Click the Select… button or the already visible flag to select the desired languages.
