Data Grooming Manager – Document Check

In the Document Check menu, you can check several documents at the same time.

The Document Check in the Data Grooming Manager comprises the following:

  • Congree Language Check

  • Optional: Term candidates extraction

For every checked document, the results are recorded in detail in a table. Moreover, you can download, save, and print a detailed Language Check Report.

Overview of the Document Check Menu

  1. Back button: Go to the overview of available Congree Managers.

  2. Activated Managers: Go to another Manager.

  3. Parent menus: Switch between the parent menus of the Data Grooming Manager.

  4. Open button: Add an XML document to be checked to the list.

  5. Delete button: Delete the selected XML document from the list.

  6. Select all button: Activate all checkboxes in the list of XML documents to be checked.

  7. Unselect all button: Deactivate all checkboxes in the list of XML documents to be checked.

  8. Check button: Perform a Congree Language Check and, optionally, a term candidates extraction for the selected documents.

  9. Summary button: Download an XML document that contains all check results of the selected documents.

  10. List of documents to be checked

    1. Checkbox: Select an XML document or undo an existing selection.

    2. Document column: List of documents to be checked

    3. Drop-down list Rule set: Select the document-specific rule set to be used for checking the individual documents.

    4. Term candidates option: Select whether a term candidates extraction is to be performed for the selected document.

    5. Status column: Shows the check status of the selected document.

    6. Checked: Date on which the selected document was checked

    7. Release level column: The release level of the selected document

    8. Word count column: Word count of the selected document

    9. Spelling column: Notification count for the selected document in the spelling category

    10. Grammar column: Notification count for the selected document in the grammar category

    11. Style column: Notification count for the selected document in the style category

    12. Terminology column: Notification count for the selected document in the terminology category

    13. Abbreviations column: Notification count for the selected document in the abbreviations category

    14. Known terms: Number of valid terms for the selected document

    15. Report column: Click Report in order to open a Language Check Report for the selected document.
