Configuring Environments – the Choose task Menu

In the Choose task menu, you can select various actions.

Tip:

For a new Congree installation, start by executing step 1 A, as a configuration host is required in order to install Congree. You can execute the step on your host or open an environment configuration. For the latter, another host must be made the configuration host by executing step 1 A.
  1. If the Congree Deployment Assistant is run on a host on which the Congree Deployment Assistant Service is not installed:
    1. Creating a local environment configuration (see Turning a Computer into a Configuration Host)
    2. Opening an environment configuration that is located on another host (see Accessing a Configuration in the Network)
  2. If the Congree Deployment Assistant is run on a host on which the Congree Deployment Assistant Service is installed:
    1. Making the configuration host accessible in the network (see Making a Configuration Host Accessible in the Network)
    2. Opening a local environment configuration (see Opening a Local Configuration)
