Features of the Congree Deployment Assistant
The Congree Deployment Assistant is your basic tool to install or configure Congree components on configuration host, other servers and clients.
With the Congree Deployment Assistant, it is possible to:
install Congree components.
configure, verify and perform installations.
check whether the system requirements are met, and whether e.g. the needed editors are installed.
update or uninstall the installed Congree components.
Versions of the Congree Deployment Assistant
v7 040 and later
There is only one Congree Deployment Assistant that is used to install the clients and to configure and install the configuration host.
The modules that are to be installed are delivered with a separate file.

Usage of the files
The Congree Deployment Assistant and the corresponding .dat file must be saved in the same folder on the configuration host to configure and install the main Congree application server.
For the installation of the clients, use only the Congree Deployment Assistant (small .exe file). You do not need to deliver the .dat file for the client installations.

The Congree Deployment Assistant is delivered in two versions:
one big file, containing all modules that are necessary to install the complete server. This version must be used to configure Congree on the configuration host.
one small file, the “Lite” version. This version is recommended to install the clients.
