Unstructured Document Formats
Examples of unstructured document formats: Microsoft Word formats (.doc/.docx), unstructured Adobe FrameMaker formats (.fm, .mif, .book), plain text (.txt)
Unstructured document formats usually have paragraph formats with which the document layout can be controlled. The Language Check requires a DTD interpretation for the special handling of certain paragraph formats.
Congree features and functions that cannot be used when working with unstructured document formats:
- Authoring Memory Preview (see Authoring Memory Preview Panel)
- Other Authoring Memory features and functions
- "Show/hide attributes" button (see The Authoring Memory Pane")
- Applying a match with the tagging of the original sentence from Authoring Memory (see Applying Authoring Memory Matches)
- Certain "Design" settings (see Settings)
