Adding CEIP

A Congree Enhanced Installation Pack (CEIP) is a special package with which additional functions can be added during installation. Examples of this are customer-specific extensions or adaptations that are only required in exceptional cases. If a CEIP has been created for you, you will receive it from your consultant.

CEIPs can only be added during installation. If you add a CEIP later, the installation must be carried out for the adjustments to take effect.

Adding a Congree Enhanced Installation Pack (CEIP)


Prerequisites:

  • You have received the CEIP from Congree as a separate package.

  • The component whose functionality you want to extend with the CEIP is already included in the configuration.

How to add a CEIP to your configuration:

The screenshots show the procedure for the Congree UMMT Server component. Proceed in the same way for other components.

 

  1. Go to the component to which the CEIP is to be attached and click on this icon:

  • A window opens.

If necessary, activate the correct tab as described at the bottom of the page.

If files are already listed here, remove them before importing the new CEIP. Proceed as described in the chapter Removing a Congree Enhanced Installation Pack (CEIP)

  1. Click on Browse. Then select the file to be added and click Open.

  • The imported files are displayed. Confirm by clicking OK.

  1. The files from the CEIP have been added to the configuration.

Continue with the configuration. The changes will be available after the next installation of the relevant component.

Remove a Congree Enhanced Installation Pack (CEIP)

Prerequisite:

  • A CEIP has already been added in a previous configuration.

How to remove a CEIP from your configuration:

  1. Go to the component from which the CEIP is to be removed and click on this icon:

  • A window opens.

 

  1. Click on Remove.

  • A window opens. Confirm the removal of the files by clicking OK.

 

  1. The CEIP files have been removed from the configuration.

Continue with the configuration. The changes will be available after the next installation of the relevant component.

Assignment of the CEIPs to the components

The names of the CEIPs follow this scheme: Date_Customer_Component.ceip, e.g. 2022-10-14_CUSTOMER_UMMT.ceip. The abbreviation for the component indicates where the CEIP must be added.

Congree UMMT Server in the Congree UMMT Server tab

Congree Linguistic Server in the Congree Linguistic Engine tab
