For the online activation, you need to activate or update your license directly in Congree Control Center.

Note:

When you open the Congree Control Center for the first time after a new installation, you can select your environment under Server. Then log in using useroperator and an empty password. You will be taken directly to Product Activation in the Product Activation window.

Requirements:

  • You are in the Editor area of the Licenses menu in the IT Manager.

How to perform the online activation:

  1. Click Update.
  2. The Product Activation window will open up:

    1. The following input field will open up:

  4. Optional: If your host can only communicate with the Internet via a company proxy, click Configure proxy to configure it.

    1. The following dialog field will open up:

      Enter the host name or IP address of the proxy and click OK.

  5. Enter the product key you have received from Congree Language Technologies GmbH and click Update.

    1. The following dialog field will open up:

      Your license has been successfully activated.
      If you have not performed an activation, but an update, proceed with point 6 of these instructions.
    2. The following dialog field will open up:

      This product key is invalid. Proceed according to the text in the dialog field.
    3. The following dialog field will open up:

      The online activation cannot be performed. Proceed according to the text in the dialog field or perform an offline activation (see Offline Activation).

  6. Click OK.

    1. A window will open up:

  7. Click OK.

    1. The Congree Control Center will restart.
  8. Your license has been successfully updated.
