Congree TermTiger - Import CSV - Mapping
In Mapping, you assign the original fields and values from the CSV file to the fields and values in your TermBase in Congree TermTiger. These can be identically named fields and values or completely different ones.
Â
Original Field: Displays the data extracted from the CSV file. It cannot be modified. It is here so you can decide where you want to have this data in your TermBase in Congree TermTiger.
Level: Shows where the data in the CSV file should be stored. Possible options are either Concept or Term.
Type: Specify what kind of data this field represents. Options depend on the selected level (Concept or Term).
Text Field: Definition, TextSingle, TextMultiple, PicklistSingle, PicklistMultiple, Image, System
Picklist: Usage, Gender, Number, Context, TextSingle, TextMultiple, PicklistSingle, PicklistMultiple, Image, System
TermTiger Field: Specify the field name in your TermBase in Congree TermTiger into which the original field should be imported. Only the fields matching the selected type can be chosen.
Original Value(s): Displays the data extracted from the CSV file. It cannot be modified. It either shows the available picklist values in the CSV file or some sample data from available text fields. The picklist values are shown so you can decide what values you want to assign in your TermBase in Congree TermTiger.
TermTiger Values: If your field is a picklist, you can map your values in TermTiger Values. For each value displayed in Original Value(s), you can map one corresponding value in your TermBase. Values you do not map will not be imported into your TermBase.
Language Restrictions: Decide what fields should only be imported for terms of a certain language. For example, you might want to have Gender only for German terms and not for English ones.
Content Languages: If your text field allows content to be translated, specify the language of the content in the CSV file. This is necessary for fields like Definition.
