When using the Language Check, the Terminology Research Panel displays all hits for which terminology notifications exist in the Language Check Panel. External terminology systems are supported as well. You can have additional information on the hits displayed directly in the Terminology Research Panel.

When the Language Check is not used, the Terminology Research Panel provides terminology information on all terms in the text. The respective terms are stored in external terminology systems such as Across crossTerm or SDL MultiTerm and can be displayed within the scope of the terminology research without using the Language Check. You can also insert terms from the Terminology Research Panel in your text without using the Language Check.

Note:

In the Congree Control Center, you can configure what terminology information to display in a terminology notification, see Configuring the Display in the Terminology Research Panel. You can also modify how different information is displayed. The terminology notification shown here is an example of the display configuration.
