Requirements:
- In the Congree Control Center, the option Enable linguistically enhanced terminology checks is deactivated; see Settings Manager: Document, chapter Overview of the Language Check Area, Option 3.
- The Terminology Research Panel is open.
- The needed terminology notification is open.

A homonym is a term used for several concepts. In the Terminology Research Panel, you can recognize a homonym from the fact that a notification for a term contains two or more preferred terms side by side:

- Click the various preferred terms.
- You can compare the concept and term information as well as possible synonyms by navigating between the preferred terms:
