In the Rules menu of the Style Guide Manager manager, you can create rule configurations that you can assign to a style an editorial guide.

To create a new rule configuration

1. enter a unique name for your configuration.

2. no preselection: You can start here with an empty rule configuration.

3. select one of the other options to create a preconfigured selection.

4. create: Confirm the selection and create the rule configuration under the selected name.

5. close: Close the window. The configuration is not saved. Your selections will be discarded.

As soon as you have selected or created or selected a rule configuration, the following view will open upappears:

3. Refresh button: Show Display the current latest status of your rule configuration.

4. First button: Skip to the first rule you have enabled or disabled.

6. Counter: The first number is the number of rules you have enabled or disabled. Rules skipped via Ask later are not included. The second number is the total number of rules for the Congree Language Check.

7. Next button: Go to the next rule you have enabled or disabled.

8. Last button: Skip to the last rule you have enabled or disabled.

9. Rule area: A short sentence describing the rule

13. Counter drop-down list: Some rules have a counter for adjusting rules, e.g. rules with a maximum permissible sentence length. The Counter button can be used to adjust the counter.

14. Area for enabling a rule: Decide whether or not the rule is enabled in your rule configuration.
    

    • Yes button: Enable the rule.

    • No button: Disable the rule.

    • Ask later button: Skip over the rule.
