Installation Scenarios

Thanks to its vertical and horizontal scalability, the Congree Authoring Server is equally suitable for small, medium-sized, and large enterprises.

The configuration of the installation depends on factors such as the following:

What is the average number of employees who use the Congree Authoring Server concurrently?
What is the maximum number of employees who use the Congree Authoring Server concurrently?
What is the individual IT environment like (security policies, host locations, etc.)?

Important:

Congree is an application whose user experience and acceptance depend crucially on prompt responses from the Congree application server. Congree's calculations and queries place a heavy load on the server's CPU.

In principle, it is technically possible to run other applications and application servers on the Congree application server. However, due to the application behavior described for Congree, this must be given careful consideration. In particular, resource-hungry applications that involve a high basic load, but also those that can cause load peaks, should not be run simultaneously on the Congree application server.

Important:

For all installation scenarios, the communication between the deployed hosts must be permitted (also through any firewalls).
