Messages
You can send messages to Congree users. These messages are displayed after logging in. You can restrict who sees the message, e.g. only members of certain groups or only people who use a specific editor.
Open the message manager.
Open the message manager in the Congree Control Center under User > Messages.
The message manager then opens in the browser in the Congree Control Center Web.
The functions at a glance
Note:
All information is saved immediately, without a separate button. The message is only published when you click on Publish.
Message: Select an existing message from the selection menu.
Create a new message by clicking on the plus sign. Assign a unique title for this message.
Edit a message that has not yet been published.
Delete a message by clicking on the cross.
Group: You can restrict which user groups the message is displayed to.
Third-party system: You can restrict on which third-party system the message is displayed.
Request confirmation: If you activate this box, the message must be explicitly confirmed.
Rule set: You can restrict for which document-specific rule sets the message is displayed.
Message: Enter the message text here.
Expiry date: You can set a date until which the message will be displayed. If a user logs in after this date, the message will no longer be displayed.
Publish: Publish the message. Once the message has been published, the button changes to Unpublish: You can use this to withdraw and edit the message again.

This information restricts who can see the message. You can make multiple selections in all areas. If at least one selection applies to the user, the message is displayed. If you do not make a selection, the message will be displayed to everyone.
Displaying messages
If there are unread messages, this will be displayed when you log in to Congree:
The user must click on View Message to continue working with Congree.

Note:
This is an example of a message for which request confirmation was selected. This must be explicitly accepted. If the Request confirmation option is not set, only an OK button is displayed.
A message is only displayed once for each user.
