Settings for the Congree Authoring Server can be imported and exported in the CRP exchange menu. The settings are exported and imported in the form of so-called Congree Resource Packs.

Possible application scenarios for this function:

  • Testing of new Congree settings: When testing new Congree settings, a previously exported older version can be reimported with the help of the Congree Resource Packs.
  • Support: For support incidents, the current Congree settings can be exported and sent to the support desk.

The menu comprises the submenus Export CRP and Import CRP.

Overview of the Export CRP Menu

In the Export CRP menu, Congree Resource Packs can be exported and saved.

  1. Drop-down list Export type: Select the data to be exported. Full data export comprises data for Data Grooming, settings, users, and style guides as well as statistical data. Customized export enables you to limit the export to data of certain categories.

Overview of the Import CRP Menu

In the Import CRP menu, Congree Resource Packs can be exported and saved.

Note:

The following figure shows the menu that appears after selecting a Congree Resource Pack.

  1. Open button: Select a Congree Resource Pack from your system and open it.
  2. Details overview: Here you can see all information on the opened Congree Resource Pack and can select the data that you would like to import.
    1. Creation date of the CRP file
    2. Storage location of the CRP file
    3. Congree version to which the contained data apply
    4. Content list: Select the data that you would like to import.
  3. Import button: Import the opened Congree Resource Pack.
