The Data Grooming Manager features a search function. You can search within the Candidate column.
Important:
The search function always applies to one Data Grooming table, i.e. not to multiple tables.
Requirements:
- You are in one of the menus of the Data Grooming Manager.
- The table contains entries.
How to use the search function:
Right-click a table column header.

Click Show Search Panel.

- Enter your search term. The search function is not case-sensitive.
- Only the hits that match your search terms will be displayed in the table.
Tip:
The following table provides an overview of all search options.
Search Options | Example |
---|---|
Search for one string: A simple string is searched for (also as part of a word). | headset |
Search for two strings: Two strings are searched for according to the "OR" principle. | sx headset |
Search for a string in quotation marks: The string within the quotation marks is found. | "sx headset" |
Search with the + operator: The string after the + is searched for according to the "AND" principle. | "sx headset" +decided |
Search with the - operator: The search results must not contain the string after the -. | compathy +headset -quality |
Search for sentences with certain properties: For example, you can search for sentences of a particular evaluator. | Evaluator:Administrator |
It is also possible to combine the "OR" search with the "NOT" search (- operator). | compathy headset -quality |
How to remove your search term:
Click the x button to the right of the search term:
- The table contents are no longer filtered by your search term.
How to close the search panel:
Click Close:
- The search panel will be closed.
