Overview of the Language Check Panel:
a) Panel Toolbar
- Previous error and Next error buttons: Navigate from notification to notification in the editor.
- Notification categories and Notification description button:
- Under Notification category, checkmark all notification categories for which you would like to see notifications.
- Under Notification description, checkmark the parts of the notifications that you would like to see.
- Show/hide ignored rules button: Click to show notifications for ignored rules. The counter provides information on the number of hits ignored.
- Show/hide disregarded notifications button: Click to show notifications not taken into consideration. The counter provides information on the number of hits not taken into consideration.

The Show/hide disregarded notifications button is available only if the document-specific rule set has been configured in such a way in the Congree Control Center that notifications in 100% matches are to be hidden.

c) Notification: Information
- Keyword: The keyword briefly describes the error. It is usually formulated instructively.
- Correction proposal for direct insertion in the document. For certain errors, no correction proposal is offered for direct insertion in the document. In these cases, the error needs to be corrected manually.
- Instruction: The instruction supplements the summary and indicates how you can correct the identified error.
- Explanation: An explanation shows an option for correcting the notification.
- Example: An example shows how an option for correcting the notification.
- Notification category and rule ID: The notification category shows whether a spelling notification, grammar notification, style notification, terminology notification, abbreviation notification, or a valid term is present. The rule ID represents a unique identifier for each rule. If Congree classes (see Congree Control Center Manual) have been assigned, the rule ID will be followed by these classes.
- Severity indicator: The color indicates the severity of the error.

- Apply proposal button: Apply a correction proposal directly to your text. Correction proposals are not displayed for all notifications.
- Apply for entire document button: Apply a correction proposal for identical notifications directly to your text.
- Ignore button: Select Ignore in order to hide an individual notification.
- Ignore all button: Select Ignore all in order to hide a notification that appears repeatedly.
- Deactivate Rule button: Click Deactivate Rule in order to deactivate a rule during the current session.

Deactivate Rule does not deactivate rules permanently. After you log out from Congree and back in or turn Congree off and back on, the rule will again be active.

In the context of corporate terminology, it may occur that some concepts have the same preferred and deprecated terms. If the deprecated term is found in the text and flagged, the notification includes the proposed positive term for the term it refers to only once.
