Congree Web Interface Browser Extension

The Congree Web Interface Browser Extension is available for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. You can download and install it in the respective Browser stores.

Browser Versions

We keep the Extension compatible with the current version of the browser. If you are unsure if the extension matches your browser version, check the compatibility details in the browser Store.

  • Chrome: The first line of the browser extension mentions if this extension is compatible with your browser version.

  • Edge: Right below the Install button a short hint shows whether the extension is compatible.

If necessary, update to the latest browser version.

 

Installation

Google Chrome

  1. Go to the web store https://chrome.google.com/webstore and search for "Congree Web Interface".

  2. Alternatively use this direct link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/congree-web-interface/oceagbkonjjmhbfbpoecnkjanpldefpe

  3. Clicken on Add in the upper right corner.

  4. Confirm with Add extension.

     

  5. The Congree Web Interface Browser Extension is installed now. You can add it to the menu bar to have it right at hand. To do so, click the jigsaw piece icon.

     

  6. Click the pin icon.

     

  7. Congree Web Interface Browser Extension now is visible in the menu bar.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Go to the web store https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/ and search for "Congree Web Interface".

  2. Alternatively use this direct link: https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/congree-web-interface/ekjeiimlkepfggebgoagjhnoeedeamee

  3. Click on Get on the right to the title of the extension.

  4. Confirm with Add extension.

     

  5. The Congree Web Interface Browser Extension is installed now and will be displayed with the other browser extensions by default. In case that the extension is not displayed automatically, you can add it manually to the menu bar. To do so, click the jigsaw piece icon, then on Manage extensions.

     

  6. Click the switch, so that the icon turns blue.

  7. Congree Web Interface Browser Extension now is displayed in the the menu bar.

Configuration

Authentication

After the installation you need to configure the extension so that you can logon to the Congree Server.

  1. Click the Congree symbol in the menu bar.

  2. Click the gear icon.

Enter your authentication data into the form that is displayed now.

Please address yourself to the responsible person of the Congree server to get the necessary data.

 

  1. Configuration URL: Use the known URL of your Congree application server.

  2. Click Load. Hint: Depending on the configuration the display will change.

  3. Configuration: Only when more than one authentication options are available, this menu is displaay. If there is only one option, this area stays empty

  4. Username: Enter your Username here.

  5. Password: Enter your password here.

  6. Click on Save to store the data, or on Cancel to quit without storing.
