Congree Web Interface - Language Check
Overview
The Language Check offers real-time language checking on most websites.
The toolbar allows you to execute important actions when using Congree Language Check. These actions are described in more detail in the next chapter.
The arrow buttons can be used to jump to the next or previous notification.
The visualization of the Release Level is a quality indicator showing how close the currently checked text is to the intended text quality.
The notification counter shows how many notifications remain.
Several buttons influence the information shown in the Language Check panel, as described under Display Configuration.
This section shows counters for each notification category. You can click each notification category to hide or show it.
The notification card shows details about what is wrong and offers next steps.
The Toolbar
Click to start a check of all available content on the current webpage.
Click to show or hide the language check notifications.
Click to show the terminology research panel.
Click to show the term candidates panel.
Click to show the authoring memory panel.
Click to show the assisted content panel.
Click to enter settings.
You can have the language check and one additional feature available at the same time.
Display configuration
Show or hide notifications that have been ignored previously.
Show or hide additional instructions and explanations related to the notification.
Show or hide the counters for the notification categories.
Notification card
Short summary explaining the notification.
Buttons to apply and ignore.
Correction proposal(s) which replace the original text on the website.
Instruction for the author describing the recommended next steps.
Explanation for the author why those steps are recommended.
Example of a text that has the described problem and a text that does not have the described problem.
The notification category and the notification code.
Apply all
If the same notification exists more than once for exactly the same text, you can click Apply all.
The number describes how many notifications have been found which can be fixed with this action.
Apply All does not instantly fix any issues. Instead, a new view is displayed showing you exactly what issues would be fixed.
You can decide to:
Fix only specific issues.
Fix all issues.
Cancel the operation.
Ignore
If you disagree with any notification provided by Congree you can click Ignore.
Ignored notifications will be hidden and are no longer considered in the Release Level.
Ignore all
If you disagree with a notification independent of the context currently displayed, you can click
Ignore all. This will hide all notifications of the same type.
The number describes how many notifications have been found which can be ignored with this action.
Ignore All does not instantly ignore any issues. Instead, a new view is displayed showing you exactly what issues would be ignored.
You can decide to:
Ignore only specific issues.
Ignore all issues.
Cancel the operation.
Undo ignore/ignore all
If “Show or hide notifications that have been ignored previously” has been enabled in display configuration, you can undo ignoring notifications.
To do this for a single notification, use .
To do this for an entire “Ignore all” operation, click the arrow down and select “Undo ignore all” .
