Congree TermTiger - Merge
ou might have more than one concept describing the same idea in Congree TermTiger. In that case, Congree TermTiger offers a feature to merge those concepts.
Select between two and five terms and click Merge.
You cannot merge more than five concepts in one operation. If you have more than five terms selected, you will receive a message indicating this limitation.
You cannot merge terms of the same concept. If you select several terms of the same concept, it will only appear in the merge view once.
Select the Primary Concept: Choose the concept you would like to keep after merging. All other concepts will be deleted after the successful merge.
Select Fields to Keep at Concept Level: Different concepts might have different content in the same fields. For example, two concepts might have different definitions. Since only one definition is allowed, you must decide which definition to keep and which one to delete. You can only merge when you have decided for each duplicate field which one you want to keep. You can see which fields require a decision by the info icon in front of the field.
