Congree for Browser - Installing and Configuration

The Congree Web Interface is available for the Chrome and Edge browsers. You can download and install it in the respective browser store under Extensions.

Browser versions
We keep the Congree Web Interface compatible with the current version of the respective browser. If you are unsure, check the compatibility information in the relevant browser store:
- Chrome: The first line of the browser extension description indicates whether the extension is compatible with your browser version.
- Edge: Whether the extension is compatible is indicated directly below the installation button.

Update to the latest browser version if necessary.

 

Installation

Google Chrome

  1. Go to the webstore https://chrome.google.com/webstore and search for "Congree Web Interface".

  2. Alternatively, use this direct link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/congree-web-interface/oceagbkonjjmhbfbpoecnkjanpldefpe

  3. Click on Add in the top right corner of the display.

  1. The Congree Web Interface is now installed. To be able to call it up easily at any time, add it to the menu bar. Click on the puzzle symbol

 

 

  1. Click on the pin symbol

 

 

  1. Congree Web Interface now appears with the Congree logo in the menu bar.

 

 

Microsoft Edge

  1. Go to the webstore Microsoft Edge Addons and search for "Congree Web Interface".

  2. Alternatively, use this direct link: Congree Web Interface - Microsoft Edge Addons

  3. Click on Add to the right of the extension title.

 

  1. Confirm the request with Add extension.

 

  1. The Congree Web Interface is now installed and is displayed by default with the Congree logo next to the other extensions in the menu bar. If this is not the case, add it manually to the menu bar. To do this, click on the puzzle icon, then on Manage Extensions

 

  1. Click on the slider so that the symbol becomes colored.

 

  1. Congree Web Interface now appears with the Congree logo in the menu bar.

 

Configuration

After installation, the Congree Web Interface still needs to be configured in order to establish the connection to the Congree Server.
1. Click on the Congree icon in the address bar of the browser
2. Click on the gear wheel

 

Enter all the necessary data in the form that is then displayed and click Save. If you do not have the data, please contact the person responsible for managing the Congree server.

 

The following applies to all information: You will receive the values to be entered from the person responsible for managing the Congree server.

The details in detail:

  1. Login type: Select whether Congree or Trust CMS is used for authentication.

  2. Username: Enter your username here.

  3. Password: Enter your password here.

  4. Access Token URL: https://DOMAIN/congreeidentityserver/connect/token

  5. Server URL: https://DOMAIN/Congree

  6. Third Party Systems Identifier: Only fill in if you have selected Trust CMS in point 1.

  7. URL restrictions: Leave this field empty for a standard installation. If something needs to be entered there, Congree Customer Service will support you.

  8. Save: Confirm the details. This will not close the window.
